Yesterday night Google calmly launched Google Plus; Google’s anticipated and rather rumored social networking website. Though according to Alexa, Google yet ranks as the top site on the web and Facebook is placed in the second position; Google the Search Engine Tycoon had unhappily lost to Facebook in the field particularly those that interest advertisers. According to comScore users spent 62% more time on Facebook than on Google linked websites that means considerable loss of advertisers annoying Google! Google had already failed on its previous attempts like Buzz and Orkut, but the Google+ project looks good and seems to have potentials to be a Facebook killer. In this post I have compiled my thoughts and some suggestions that can make Google Plus a success!

1- Privacy! For both, Buzz and Orkut the major reasons that lead to their failure was privacy. Google Plus has a newer more innovative and natural way of sharing things. Google Plus has circles! Just like in real life you have circles, circles or friends, work and family etc. same way in Google plus you have circles and you can share specific content with specific people!

2- Easier Sharing: In Facebook you have friends, yes you can categorize them and hide content from some people and show it to others. But it’s certainly not that easy and importantly it doesn’t work always! Sharing is not that straight forward as it seems to be in Google Plus. And the best thing about it is that circles are easy to manage, just drag and drop contacts into its relevant circle. Drag them back to contacts to from the member from circle. It is indeed that easy, just drag and drop! Try the demo here! Well can a person be in 2 circles :-s ??
