Two new physics engine bundles made available to developersAMD announced today that it is providing game developers with the latest version of partner Pixelux’s Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) physics simulation. DMM was regarded as a ‘key technology’ when it was made available for licensing in 2008, having impressed in LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.AMD will now be sponsoring Free DMM2 for the PC. This version has no DMM development or production deployment license fee and includes all of the features of DMM. AMD claim it will be made accessible to interested developers shortly.
