Вы наверное обратили внимание что не важно какую программу вы запускаете в .NET у вас все время есть 4 thread'а на ней ? (и конечно они растут в зависимости если ваша программка сама использует thread'ы)
Вот обьяснение что это за thread'ы такие:
Thread 0 : Applications main thread (managed)
Thread 1 : Debugger Runtime Controller thread (unmanaged)
Thread 2 : Finalizer thread (managed)
Thread 3 : Debugger thread (unmanaged)
